5th CineASA Guwahati International Film Festival, 2013
The 5th Guwahati International Film Festival 2013 by Cine Art Society, Asom (CineASA) is starting from 21st April to 28th April at Rabindra Bhavan, Guwahati and five other venues across the state (Gauhati University, Tezpur University, Lakhimpur and Dibrugarh). The film festival will be inaugurated on 21st April by Chief Guest Mr. HN Narahari Rao, President, FIPRESCI-INDIA & former President of FFSI, India.

Cine Art Society, Asom (CineASA) is Assam’s premier film society based in Guwahati. Since its formation it has been working on spreading cine-literacy to the grass-root level and to encourage interest in the film as an art by showing aesthetically sound and meaningful cinema across the state including different academic institutions. Since 2009 CineASA has been organizing International film festival at various locations across the state.
