Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecom operator has introduced a new feature called the ‘Airtel Dialer’ in its myAirtel app. However, this can be used by only some prepaid and postpaid users in the country and will be offering 50 minutes of both local/STD free Airtel-to-Airtel calls. The new feature will be available to the Android users as a part of the myAirtel app update. The customer will have to update the myAirtel app, after which the app creates a stand-alone icon for the new feature. Customers can also make this icon their default phone dialer.
In a time when almost all the telecom companies in the country are coming up with new offers and tariff rates every passing day, the new free calling dialer feature has been directly aimed to lure the existing Airtel customers for generating more and more revenue. Also, any prepaid user to download the application can get 5GB free night data via myJackpot.
An update of the myAirtelapp notification read “Manage your calls efficiently, get free calling minutes and enjoy seamless dialing experience.”
Earlier, Bharti Airtel had added Airtel Backup, a cloud storage feature in its myAirtel app for certain users in India. It currently is offering 2GB of free cloud storage, which allows Airtel users to store documents, audio, video, photos, call history, contacts etc for free.
