State run telecom operator BSNL has enhanced the browsing speed for its broadband customers across the country to minimum of 1Mbps. This is effective across country for all the new and existing broadband BSNL customers since August 1st.
“Now BSNL broadband speed offered will be minimum 1 Mbps after High-Speed FUP quota at no additional cost for broadband customers who are under BB plan of post FUP speed of 512Kbps,” a company official said. The upgrade in the speed has been introduced as a part of the customer-friendly schemes launched by the operator. Also, BSNL has increased the pre-FUP data limit for different broadband plans. Customers are advised to visit the official website BSNL website for more details.
Meanwhile, BSNL has also introduced another plan offering unlimited free voice calling from its landline numbers to all networks within the country. This offer is valid only on Sundays, starting from August 15. BSNL has already a free night calling facility which starts from 9 pm to 7 am, exclusively valid for landline customers.
In an effort to make mobile payment and bill more affordable, BSNL is also installing ATMs, and one such mobile ATM was inaugurated in Nagpur CTO Compound. This ATM works even on weekends and holidays and customers can now pay bills 24×7 using this ATM facility to the fullest. However, it is to be noted that the customers has to carry the original or printed copy of the bill received through e-mail.
“All these new schemes are introduced to enhance the customer experience towards BSNL services,” said a press release from the operator.
