‘Flex’ plans introduced by Vodafone across India

Post the launch of Flex Postpaid Plans, the second largest operator of the country, Vodafone India has come up with prepaid Flex packs on a pan India basis. After facing stiff competition in the global from rival networks, flex was recently added to the Indian unit of the British telecom giant. The flex prepaid plans were originally conceptualized for simple prepaid plans. This was initially Vodafone India’s global strategy in a move to make prepaid plans easy, affordable and user friendly. Similar ‘flex’ plans are already available in Vodafone’s other international markets like Egypt, Australia and Qatar.

How can FLEX be used?

1 FLEX= 1MB 4G/3G/2G data+ 1 SMS+ 1 minute incoming call on roaming.

Similarly, 2 FLEX= 1 minute local/STD call+ 1 minute outgoing call on Roaming.

According to the usage of a customer, FLEX will be deducted from the balance of the customer accordingly.

Prepaid customers who get their FLEX prepaid packs will get FLEX points, from which they can consume mobile data, SMS or Voice calls. Flex prepaid offers do not comes with any restrictions, and hence are easy and flexible to use. Customers need to just recharge their number with a fixed data pack or a top up card; and as the voice minutes are charged as ‘FLEX’ points, one can Rs. 40-70 as rate cutter cost.

• Each Flex Pack comes with 28 days validity.

Flex Rates:

• Pay 1 Flex Point for 1 MB data 2G/3G/4G.
• Pay 1 Flex Point for incoming roaming calls.
• Pay 2 Flex Points for local and STD calls including landline numbers.
• Pay 2 Flex Points for outgoing calls on roaming network.

Vodafone has launched launched 4 Flex prepaid packs for prepaid customers for entry level to mid-level customers for India.
