Idea cellular, the third biggest telecom giant of India has launched unlimited night pack at Rs 19, across all the circles in the country. Customers are advised to consult the customer care executives before recharging their number with this pack, as the prices differ for some circles. The pack will offer unlimited 2G data for its prepaid customers. However, the speed will reduce to 10kbps after 2GB of usage. Aircel, until recently was offering a similar pack just at Rs 8, but withdrew it as 2G became slower and people shifted their preference to 3G. Under such a scenario, it is doubtful as to how long Idea will keep this pack activated.
