After Reliance Jio, Idea Celluar has introduced data benefit packs for its postpaid customers with long validity. Idea cellular is currently the third largest telecom operator of the country after Airtel and Vodafone, and second in the row to offer such long validity data benefit packs. This offer was declared by officials of Idea Cellular exactly after 54 days of the launch of the same offer for the prepaid customers.
Two packs have been introduced by Idea, and customers can subscribe to any one of these to enjoy the benefits.
1.Rs 500- Long Validity Pack: A customer who will activate this pack will be billed Rs. 500 as a one-time activation fee with 2GB instant data benefit valid for 30 days. After activation, data packs can be availed at 125/GB for 6 months.
2.Rs. 1500- Customers activating this pack will be billed 1500 as a one-time activation fee with 6GB instant data benefit valid for 30 days. After activation, data packs can be availed at 50/GB for one year.

Idea cellular has recently reported a 88% fall in its consolidated net profit in the quarter of last month, thus it is hoped that such attractive offers will woo its customer base and boost the revenue scenario once again.
