The telecom industry is going through a major transformation. In a bid to redefine the formula of data consumption, Aircel is offering its prepaid customers 1GB of 3G data just for Rs. 24 with a validity of 28 days.
However, to avail the benefit of 1GB 3G data, customers will have to first recharge their number with Rs. 329, by which they would get 2GB of 3G data for 28 days. After that, these customers can enjoy 1GB 3G data with every subsequent recharge of Rs. 24. Currently, the offer has been introduced only in few circles across the country including Chennai, ROTN, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, Kolkata, Assam etc. The price of the pack changes from region to region, ranging from Rs. 24 to Rs. 41, while the main recharge is available in the range of Rs. 291 to Rs. 329. Talking about the offer, Mr Sankara Narayanan K, Head- SBU 1, (Chennai and ROTN), Aircel said “Aircel is spicing up the festivities with a whole range of exciting data and calling products. We want our customers to consume entertainment online without worrying too much about the cost.
