The state owned PSU telecom operator BSNL has come up with a new tariff plan for all its new and existing subscribers in a move to lower calling rates across all the circles of the country. The plan has been launched on a 90 days promotional basis, and comes in a denomination of Rs. 136 with 2 years validity.
In the first month of the recharge, all the local and STD on-net and off-net calls are charges at 25p/min, and 1.3p/sec thereafter. Also, the subscribers will get 1GB of free data for the initial 30 days. While the SMS is charged at Re 1/message for local BSNL numbers, it is 25paise for local numbers of other companies and 38paise for STD message in national roaming.
