State owned telecom giant, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has launched a new GSM plan for its postpaid users. The pack is priced at Rs. 1,125 and will be offering true unlimited calling. The telecom company has also revised the existing postpaid GSM plan priced at Rs. 1500; which will now offer 5GB instead of the earlier 2GB. Kerela Telecom has announced that the new plan will be effective from the 1st of October, 2016 on a PAN India basis.
The new BSNL Postpaid GSM plan comes bundled with 1 GB of data, 250 free SMS ( to any network), unlimited local/STD voice calls applicable to any landline and mobile number and unlimited (free) incoming and outgoing calls on roaming. However, it should be noted that BSNL has increased the monthly rental for the existing postpaid from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 1525. Along with 5GB of data, this pack offers unlimited outgoing calls during roaming.
Apart from the new postpaid plans, BSNL has also revised the existing postpaid data plans of Rs. 666, Rs. 901 and Rs. 1711, which are now unlimited plans. The plan of Rs. 666 now offers 7GB data and unlimited internet at 128kbps beyond free usage. Similarly, the plans of Rs. 901 and Rs. 1711 will now offer 10GB and 20GB data respectively, with unlimited internet at 128kbps speed beyond the free usage.
It is advisable that customers check with the customer care of their respective circles before getting the packs.
